Silver Wedding Favors
Couples planning to
get married who are stuck for an idea about what gifts to hand out to
their guests should consider supplying
silver wedding
favors. The next decision to be made is which type to use; elegant or
whimsical and while there are no hard and fast rules on this, most guests
will prefer to have elegant! Although it might not win any design awards,
a nicely decorated, personalized silver wrapper covering a plain bar of
candy, usually works well. Although you can use just as easily use plain,
milk or white chocolate filled with an almond or raisin center. It doesn't
cost the earth to have the name of the bride and groom printed on the
wrapper plus the date of the wedding.

If you are going as
far as personalizing the wrapper, then why not have your picture printed
on the wrapper to really impress your guests! When candy bars are not an
option, why not have the silver wedding favor candy in a tin instead! Once
again, it is easy to have the tin given the personal touch with the bride
and grooms details on it. Tins are always useful so once the candy has
been eaten, it can be used to store many small items that might be lost
otherwise. Candy will probably remain a favorite silver wedding favor to
place candy in for some time because it is so popular.
A simple option here
is to use a large silver display bowl that is full of various types of
candy. Otherwise a small container, which can be themed if appropriate,
can be used instead. Even though the guests will be eating the candy
during the evening, at the end of the night they can fill their silver
wedding favor presentation boxes (if there are any left) and take them
away with them. Just to be different you could decide to use cookies
instead of candy for your silver wedding favor boxes; there is plenty of
variety here as well. You can select cookies which are rather plain in
nature but place them in keepsake boxes with the bride and grooms' names
as well as the date of the wedding.

Current technology
allows for a photo to be printed on the cookie so a couple could choose to
do this as an alternative to a presentation box. Cookies can be baked in a
variety of shapes so all that needs to be done is to supply a picture for
them to imprint. With the variety of teas and coffees available these
days, there is no reason why these cannot be inserted into the silver
wedding favors boxes used by the couple. You can select specialty cocoas,
teas or coffees or you can have the packaging customized to include your
picture, an appropriate quotation, poem or other message related to loves
and weddings. Often the contents are in tins which can be personalized
with the bride and grooms
wedding ceremony
details and makes the box or tin more collectible. If you have not found
any of these suggestions appealing, there is no reason why you cannot come
up with something that is completely unique for your guests!
